My name is Cole Hershon. I am 6’2” and weigh 175 pounds. I will graduate in 2016 from Dublin High School in Dublin, California. I have been playing soccer for 12 years and want to continue playing for as long as I can. I play in the Center Back position but also have experience as a Wide Back and on the Wing. As a Freshman I was the captain of the Freshman-Sophomore team because of my leadership on and off the field. During my Freshman season I played Right Wing and scored 7 goals and had 7 assists. Late in my Freshman season I was “pulled up” to the Junior Varsity Team.

As a Freshman on the Junior Varsity Team, I was the starting Wing on the right side. During my Sophomore season I was moved to Center Back and learned the position as a two year starter on junior Varsity. On my club team, the Dublin Eagles, I was a regular starter and captain. That same team won the State Cup Copper division in 2012 because of a goal and an assist from me. We were also the undefeated champions of the league in our 2013 Silver division, and placed 2nd in State Cup for the 2013 season. I now play on a  National Premier League team -- the Livermore Fusion FC.

I have a cumulative GPA of 3.2. When I’m not playing soccer or working out, I am filming short films that my friends and I enter into film contests. Also, I recently became a coach for Make Me A Pro Sports, where I will help younger kids enhance their skills in Summer camps for soccer and other sports. In addition, I am a member of the Safe Routes club at my school.

I love the game of soccer. When I don’t have team practices I work by myself on my skills such as first touch, shooting, footwork, pass accuracy, and conditioning. Not only do I work on the physical aspect of my game; I work myself mentally too. I watch games in person and on tv whenever I can, I love receiving advice that can help enhance my skills, and I am going to get my coaching license this Summer.

My strengths are my vision, accuracy, my creativity, and my leadership on and off the field. Most importantly, I am a dedicated athlete who will give you 100% at all times.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.
