Dear Coach,

My name is Brice Peaden from Pace, Florida. I am a rising Senior at Pace High School. Pace is a 6A school in the panhandle of Florida. I am writing to you because of my interest in playing college baseball. I am currently playing baseball on the varsity team.  Our season starts February 2, 2015.

I am a first baseman and a right handed pitcher. I also hit solid hits to advance my team to victory. As a sophomore, on the JV team, I held the highest batting average amongst the entire baseball program.

Just to tell you about myself, I am a two sport athlete with a 3.0 GPA. I play baseball in the spring and football in the fall. I am a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I took a Leadership class as a sophomore.  I am taking the Sat on January 24 and the ACT on February 7.

I work very hard at both sports. I have played baseball since I was four. I hold the homerun record at Gospel Projects in Milton, Fl with 52 homeruns.

I started football at nine years of age. Football has mentally prepared me to be a better baseball player. Patience, persistence and drive have given me the tools to be a consistent baseball player.

I would love to speak with you about the possibility of being a part of your team in 2017. If there is anything I can do to help you decide whether I may be a good fit for your program, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to answering any questions.

Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Brice Peaden
