Dear Coach

My name is Kendall Jones and I am 5'8 inches tall, weigh 165lbs. I play both LSM and Close Defense. I am beginning my junior year academically at Cox Mills High, and will be participating athletically with Charlotte Secondary School Charlotte, NC.  I have just completed my summer travel lacrosse season and was a contributing midfielder with Top Tier's National Travel team.

As a sophomore, I started and was selected as a team captain for the Cox Mills HS Club lacrosse team that was ranked number 1 in the state and finished second in the North Carolina High School Club Lacrosse Championship tournament. In 2013 I was named a Brine Middle School Lacrosse All American and represented North Carolina in the Brine All American Classic.

I finished my sophomore year with a 3.1 GPA and plan on taking the SATs in November and the ACT in December.  My goal academically is to pursue a degree in the business.

This year I applied and was accepted to Bridgton Academy, a college preparatory boarding school located in Bridgton, Maine. I made this decision for 2 main reasons. First, this past summer as I began thinking about the college admissions process, I realized that I would benefit from an extra year of high school in order to better prepare myself for college both in terms of my maturity and academic preparedness.

Second, I wanted to experience being a member of a top level varsity lacrosse program competing against the best high school players and teams in the country. Bridgton will provide me with that opportunity.

Finally, I plan on giving back to my community and to my sport through volunteering with 1stTouch a youth sports program in Charlotte that introduces sports such as lacrosse, soccer and tennis to non-traditional communities.

I would love to play lacrosse for you and hope you consider me as your next recruit. Please view my profile at:

Hope to hear from you soon.
