-good control of body around basket to avoid getting shot blocked
-good three point shooter, nice lift and rise on shot
-unselfish, does a good job looking for open teammates
-nice on the ball defensive pressure

-does not use left hand, work on ball handling skills
-always drives to the right, become more versatile and unpredictable
-needs better awareness on defense
-work on being a better point guard and running team, with her height on next level a coach will view her as a point guard who can shoot, rather than a short shooting two guard
-needs to penetrate more to draw more fouls and get to the free throw line more
Carlye has been my favorite player to evaluate as of yet.  Im a fan of players 5'3'' and under, so I welcome her to the short players club.  I like that she plays with spunk and a lot of confidence.  Carlye's best gift on the court is her 3 point shot.  I was very impressed with her ability to rise up and knock down a three.  To counteract that, she needs to add other aspects to her offensive game.  She needs to penetrate more to get to the basket and draw more fouls. Also stop and pull up for short jumpers and floaters.  Im not saying its not possible because you never know but she needs to work more on being a point guard because she will probably play more of that in college than being a shooting two guard.  Her on the ball defense is very good, but away from the ball defense needs more focus and awareness.  I would love to see her take the ball and get out on the fast break and go coast to coast with her speed and quickness, but that's something I did not see.  I think she's stuck in a two guard mode and standing outside settling for three point shots.  Carlye can play lower division 1 on down with the right team and fit.  The things that could hold her back from playing on a top D1 team would be height, strength, and athletic ability.  She's fast and quick but there is another level and gear of fast and quick, that players her height and size have on a high d1 level.  Also, it could take just the right coach to fall in love with her game.
