My name is Clayton Pinheiro and I am a prospective football recruit looking to transfer from my current community college to your program for the Fall 2016 football season. I prefer to play WR and S, but I can play QB. I am 6’ 0” and currently weigh 188 pounds. I will be participating in a football-recruiting combine at Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, NC, on 9 Jan 2016 at 0900. It would be my honor if you would come to the combine and allow me the opportunity to audition for a potential roster spot on your upcoming football team. I feel that I have a great foundation of WR skills to build from and I have the work ethic both in the weight room and on the field that will be an asset to your program. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

WR, S and QB
My name is Clayton Pinheiro and I graduated in the Class of 2015. I wore number #2 on the Hohenfels American High School Tigers football team located in Hohenfels, Germany. I am 6’ 0” and currently weigh 183 pounds and I would like to play WR for your football team. I graduated from Jack Britt High School with a GPA of 2.85 weighted and I scored a 1500 combined on the SAT in Nov of 2014. I am currently enrolled at Brunswick Community College have a 2.7 GPA. One of my best attributes is my love for the weight room grind. Besides an athlete’s raw talent, I feel that the work I put in conditioning my body and developing strength that translates to the football field is what sets me up for success as a football player. I played Varsity football my Junior and Senior years in 2013 and 2014, where I earned two Varsity letters and was named as a Team Captain for both of those years as our starting QB and Safety. Both of my seasons at HMHS, I was named as a pre-season player to watch on Offense by the Stars and Stripes Europe sports writers and as we went into the post-season, I was again named as a key offensive player to watch, as our team made the run to the DoDDs Europe Div II Championship back to back those two years as well. In 2013, we won the DoDDs Europe Div II Championship and in 2014, we again returned to the championship game, this time riding an undefeated season record. Unfortunately that game did not end in our favor. After the 2014 season, I was named 1st team All Conference on Offense. In my 10 regular and 6 post-season games as QB of the Hohenfels Tigers, I threw for over 1050 yards, 20 TD/ 3 INT, rushed 23 times for 123 yards and 6 TD while leading my team to 2 DoDDs Europe Div II Football Championship games. Of those 1050 yards and 20 TD, 300 yards and 8 TDs were in 6 post-season games. On Defense, I had 40 tackles and 6 INT as a Safety.
In addition to football, I played center field and catcher for the baseball team in 2014, where I earned a Varsity letter and was team Captain. I also played basketball all four years of high school where I earned three Varsity letters and was named a team Captain from 2012 to 2014. I thank you for taking the time to read a little about me and for your thoughtful consideration for a potential opportunity to earn a position on your football team.
