My name is Hunter Wendling and I am a Quarterback interested in your recruiting class of 2018. In 2015, I transferred to Stadium High School (Tacoma, WA) who had NEVER been to the PLAYOFFS and hadn't had a winning season in over 24 years. Last year I helped lead our team to our 1st winning season in 26 years and Stadium's 1st Playoff appearance in school history. I am proud of the impact I have been able to make alongside my teammates over the last 2 years under Coach Ford’s direction and am working hard to repeat again my senior year.
I carry a 3.3 GPA and scored a 1090 on my 1st attempt at the SAT’s. I will be retaking them in the Fall. In the off-season, I run track to help work on my speed and as another way to stay in shape. I run 3 events: Track Times Per Athletic.net: 100 Meters - 11.91; 200 Meters - 23.71; 400 Meters - 53.64.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing with an enthusiastic recommendation of Hunter Wendling. I had the privilege of having Hunter in my Algebra 3-4 class during the 2016-2017 school year at Stadium High School. I want you to know that Hunter would be an amazing addition to any team or institution that he is interested in.
Hunter is one of those students who makes teaching worth it. He is a hard worker and a natural leader. Algebra 3-4 is a mixed grade level class (9th – 12th grade) and as a junior in my class, he quickly became my student who helped set the pace in class. He was always very involved and asked good questions. He asked the kind of insightful questions that really showed how much he was listening and processing the new information. If Hunter asked a question, I knew that I needed to take the time to make sure the class knew the answer. His questions helped me be a better teacher.
Hunter is very humble in his leadership and his style of leading is quiet and natural. During football season, we often chatted about the games and the challenges that the team faced. Win or lose, he would show up on Monday morning with a smile celebrating or telling me that they would get them next week. During the spring, Hunter and I had several conversations about his math choices for his senior year. He showed so much maturity in that he wanted to make sure he was college ready in the area of mathematics and he researched his different options. We all know that sports and academics are a tough balance; Hunter showed the ability to handle both and handle both well. He is obviously a young man making plans for a balanced education and life.
I am convinced that Hunter will take his high school experiences and build on them in college and beyond. He has my highest recommendation to join your organization. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.Sincerely, Trish Maxwell Stadium Mathematics 253-571-3052 email@example.com
