Player: Bryce Plummer
School: Keystone Heights High School
The first thing that stood out to me about Bryce was that he looked the part. He passed the “eye” test. He has an athletic and strong frame. He stood out from the rest of the team in that regard. After watching a couple of at bats I could see that he is a player who can make adjustments. After pulling off the ball his first at bat he adjusted and drove the ball to the opposite field in his next at bat. Bryce loves the game and I think he’s the kind of player that will run through a wall for you. He has played against good competition through travel organizations so I don’t foresee making the jump to the next level difficult for him at all. He hits and plays defense and his athleticism is apparent. From what I see Bryce is a small DI and DII talent. He could blossom even more over the next year being that he’s a only a junior.
Work Ethic: His coaches say that he lives and breathes the game. He loves to play and wants to see how good he can be. You’ll be hard pressed to find a teammate that will outwork him
ARM: Bryce has a plus outfield arm. High 80’s low 90’s
Speed: Bryce can run. He ran back to back 6.38 60 yd dash times. They were clocked by hand, but both guys had the same time so he’s speed threat.
Bat: Bryce is a strong kid and it correlates to his power. He has gap power and will drive the ball out of the park. He uses all fields pretty well also. Has a strong lower half. Once he learns how to use it he’ll hit with more power more consistently
Defense: Bryce excels defensively; He has good instincts and takes decent routes. His plus arm is just that, a plus. He covers a lot of ground out there.
Baseball iq: Plummer is a player and looks to learn more. He’s a B right now and ready to take it to the next level
Bryce is a player that I think will flourish once he gets into a system that he can learn and progress in. As far as tools go he has what you want in a player. Plus he’s hungry to be the best he can be. This is the kind of player you want on your team for obvious reasons. He will make some DI or DII program really happy.

I am Bryce Plummer, (#4) and am currently on the Keystone Heights High School varsity baseball team. I previously was on Gainesville High School’s varsity baseball team as a freshman and sophomore. I received the Silver Slugger award my freshman year for having the highest batting average, .345. In my sophomore year, my batting average was .305. My current batting average for my junior year is .370 with an on base percentage of .417. In regard to my fielding percentage, I finished my freshman and sophomore years with a 1.000. I have been the starting centerfielder throughout my high school years. My 60 speed is 6.3. I am 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. I feel like I have several assets that contribute to my team. I have good speed and can steal bases as well as a consistent bat. My stolen base percentage has been 90 percent for the past three years. My overall best contribution to my team is my determination to not give up; I am very persistent and fight to the end. If for some reason I am not doing well, I will work through it until I succeed again. My devotion to my team and my pursuit of physical fitness has awarded me with being a leader and a starter ever since my freshman year. My current cumulative GPA is a 3.069. At this time in my life, I am unsure of my future career goals but I do find interest in exercise science, sports related areas, marine biology, and history. I endeavor to do my best in everything I do and given the opportunity to play for your team and to uphold such a position would be my benefit. So I thank you for your consideration in possibly selecting me, Bryce Plummer, to represent the baseball team and your school.
