Candace's international career spanned over 12 years with the Canadian National Team, including 2 Women’s World Cups (China 2007, Germany 2011) and 2 Olympic Games (Beijing 2008, London 2012). The London Olympic Games became a landmark achievement where Canada won an Olympic Bronze Medal. Professionally, she has won 2 Women's Professional Championships in the USA and is a NSCAA College Cup Champion with the University of Notre Dame.

Now a full time coach, Candace currently holds a position as Technical Assistant with the Canadian Youth National Team program, in addition to being a head coach at Arlington Soccer Club based out of Virginia. Candace has also been a part of CONCACAF region TSG (Technical Study Group) which has the duty of preparing Technical / Tactical analysis and game reports for specific international tournaments.
